  • 07:30 AM: Tea & snack stop at Buttala or Wellawaya.
  • 09:30 AM: Arrive at Yala National Park (Block 1 entrance – Palatupana).
    • Begin Jeep Safari (approx. 3–4 hours) through the park’s diverse ecosystems of grasslands, lagoons, and forests.
    • Spot leopards, sloth bears, elephants, crocodiles, peacocks, and many rare birds.
    • Yala is world-famous for having one of the highest leopard densities on Earth.

  • 02:30 PM: Visit Kirinda Temple, perched on a rock overlooking the ocean — panoramic sea views and local legends of Queen Viharamahadevi.
  • 04:30 PM: Proceed to Kataragama and check in at hotel.
  • 06:30 PM: Visit Kataragama Sacred Temple Complex, revered by Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims alike.

  • 10:30 AM: Begin return journey to Akkaraipattu via Buttala and Monaragala.

  1. Non-Refundable Booking Policy: After making the payment, any booking cannot be cancelled. Once payment is made, it will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  4. Wildlife Park Visits: Visits to wildlife parks are at your own risk. Jeeps and other vehicles used for park safaris are without air conditioning and come with basic insurance (not as comprehensive as the vehicles used for regular tours).

    Comprehensive Children Policy & Hotel Policy

    To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please review the following policies regarding children and hotel stays.

    1. Child Age Classification & Pricing
    • Infant (0 - 5 years): Free of Charge
      • Provided the infant does not occupy a separate seat in the vehicle or a separate bed in the hotel room.
      • Complimentary meals may be provided at the hotel's discretion; otherwise, charges will apply.
    • Child (6 - 12 years): 50% of the Adult Rate
      • Includes a separate seat in the vehicle.
      • Includes an extra bed or cot in the parents' room and all meals as per the itinerary.
    • Teenager (13 years and above): 100% of the Adult Rate
      • Considered an adult for all components of the tour (accommodation, meals, transport, and entrance fees).
    1. Accommodation for Children 
    • Children aged 0-5 years sharing existing bedding with their parents stay free of charge.
    • For children aged 6-12 years, an extra bed or cot will be provided in the parents' room at the reduced child rate.
    • Important Note: The provision of an extra bed is subject to availability and the room type. It must be requested at the time of booking and cannot be guaranteed. Some room categories are not suitable for an extra bed.
    • If a separate room is required for a child, the full adult rate will apply.
    1. Meals for Children
    • Children under 5 years receive complimentary meals from the standard buffet or kids' menu, as offered by the hotel.
    • Children aged 6-12 years will receive meals at a 50% discount from the standard adult meal price.
    • Please inform us of any special dietary requirements or allergies for your children at the time of booking.
    1. Transportation
    • Children aged 0-5 years traveling without a separate seat must be seated on an adult's lap.
    • All children aged 6 years and above are mandatorily provided with a separate seat in the vehicle for safety and are charged accordingly.
    1. Tours, Activities & Entrance Fees
    • Many cultural sites, national parks, and activities have their own mandatory entrance fees for children, which are not included in the child package rate and must be paid directly at the site. These fees are typically based on the child's age or height.
    • Certain activities (e.g., water sports, safari jeeps, adventure tours) have strict age and height restrictions for safety. We will inform you of these restrictions, but it is the parents' responsibility to ensure their child meets the requirements.
    1. Child Safety & Supervision
    • The safety and well-being of children is the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians throughout the tour.
    • Children must be supervised at all times, especially around pools, at the beach, during wildlife visits, and in public areas.
    1. Cancellations and Modifications
    • The standard tour cancellation policy applies to all bookings involving children.
    • The applicable children's discount is only valid for the original booking confirmation. Any alteration to the booking after confirmation may void the child discount, and the package will be re-priced at the current rates.
    1. Documentation
    • Please carry a copy of your child's passport or birth certificate for age verification at hotels and entrance points.

    General Hotel Policy in Sri Lanka

    • Check-in / Check-out: Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out are strictly subject to availability and will incur additional charges.
    • Extra Beds: As noted above, extra beds are a request and not a guarantee. A supplement will be charged directly by the hotel if not pre-arranged in your package.
    • Meal Plans: The meal plan included in your package (e.g., Half-Board - Breakfast & Dinner) will be specified in your voucher. Any additional meals or beverages are at your own expense.
    • Government Taxes: All quoted prices include prevailing government taxes and service charges.
