Day 01 – Airport |
Colombo
- Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to the bustling capital, Colombo.
- The city is a dynamic blend of old-world charm and cosmopolitan flair. Visit the Gangaramaya Temple, a tranquil space beside Beira Lake that beautifully combines Sri Lankan, Thai, and Chinese architectural influences. Continuing to the National Museum, the island’s largest repository of art, history, and culture.
- As evening falls, stroll along the Galle Face Green, a seafront promenade where locals gather to watch the sunset and enjoy street food.

Day 02 – Colombo | Pinnawala | Dambulla | Kandalama
After breakfast, begin your journey toward the island’s cultural heartland. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to rescued and orphaned elephants since 1975. Witness their playful interactions during feeding or bathing time — a delightful highlight for animal lovers.
- Continuing to Dambulla, home to the famed Golden Rock Cave Temple, Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave temple complex, dating back to the 1st century BCE. Marvel at its intricate murals and more than 150 Buddha statues, each crafted with devotion and artistry.
- Arrive in Kandalama and enjoy a delicious dinner amidst the serenity of the lake and forest.

Day 03 – Kandalama | Sigiriya | Polonnaruwa | Kandalama
After an early breakfast, ascend the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as the “Lion Rock.” This 5th-century citadel built by King Kasyapa showcases ancient frescoes, the Mirror Wall, and breathtaking summit views. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sigiriya stands as one of Asia’s most extraordinary archaeological marvels.
Later, proceed to Polonnaruwa, the island’s medieval capital and another UNESCO treasure. Explore the Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya with its colossal Buddha statues, the Statue of King Parakramabahu, and Shiva Devale — each reflecting the grandeur of a bygone era.
Return to Kandalama for dinner and relaxation.

Day 04 – Kandalama | Matale | Peradeniya | Kandy
After breakfast, depart for Kandy, the spiritual heart of Sri Lanka. On the way, stop in Matale, where you’ll visit a Spice Garden to learn about the island’s rich spice heritage and the art of Ayurvedic healing.
Continue to Peradeniya, home to the Royal Botanical Gardens, a 147-acre haven of exotic flora, rare orchids, and giant fig trees, once reserved for royalty.
Arrive in Kandy and experience its vibrant atmosphere — a city of tradition, music, and devotion. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism’s most revered shrines, followed by a cultural dance performance that showcases the rhythmic energy of Kandyan art.

Booking Terms & Conditions
Comprehensive Children Policy & Hotel Policy
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please review the following policies regarding children and hotel stays.
- Child Age Classification & Pricing
- Infant (0 - 5 years): Free of Charge
- Provided the infant does not occupy a separate seat in the vehicle or a separate bed in the hotel room.
- Complimentary meals may be provided at the hotel's discretion; otherwise, charges will apply.
- Child (6 - 12 years): 50% of the Adult Rate
- Includes a separate seat in the vehicle.
- Includes an extra bed or cot in the parents' room and all meals as per the itinerary.
- Teenager (13 years and above): 100% of the Adult Rate
- Considered an adult for all components of the tour (accommodation, meals, transport, and entrance fees).
- Accommodation for Children
- Children aged 0-5 years sharing existing bedding with their parents stay free of charge.
- For children aged 6-12 years, an extra bed or cot will be provided in the parents' room at the reduced child rate.
- Important Note: The provision of an extra bed is subject to availability and the room type. It must be requested at the time of booking and cannot be guaranteed. Some room categories are not suitable for an extra bed.
- If a separate room is required for a child, the full adult rate will apply.
- Meals for Children
- Children under 5 years receive complimentary meals from the standard buffet or kids' menu, as offered by the hotel.
- Children aged 6-12 years will receive meals at a 50% discount from the standard adult meal price.
- Please inform us of any special dietary requirements or allergies for your children at the time of booking.
- Transportation
- Children aged 0-5 years traveling without a separate seat must be seated on an adult's lap.
- All children aged 6 years and above are mandatorily provided with a separate seat in the vehicle for safety and are charged accordingly.
- Tours, Activities & Entrance Fees
- Many cultural sites, national parks, and activities have their own mandatory entrance fees for children, which are not included in the child package rate and must be paid directly at the site. These fees are typically based on the child's age or height.
- Certain activities (e.g., water sports, safari jeeps, adventure tours) have strict age and height restrictions for safety. We will inform you of these restrictions, but it is the parents' responsibility to ensure their child meets the requirements.
- Child Safety & Supervision
- The safety and well-being of children is the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians throughout the tour.
- Children must be supervised at all times, especially around pools, at the beach, during wildlife visits, and in public areas.
- Cancellations and Modifications
- The standard tour cancellation policy applies to all bookings involving children.
- The applicable children's discount is only valid for the original booking confirmation. Any alteration to the booking after confirmation may void the child discount, and the package will be re-priced at the current rates.
- Documentation
- Please carry a copy of your child's passport or birth certificate for age verification at hotels and entrance points.
General Hotel Policy in Sri Lanka
- Check-in / Check-out: Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out are strictly subject to availability and will incur additional charges.
- Extra Beds: As noted above, extra beds are a request and not a guarantee. A supplement will be charged directly by the hotel if not pre-arranged in your package.
- Meal Plans: The meal plan included in your package (e.g., Half-Board - Breakfast & Dinner) will be specified in your voucher. Any additional meals or beverages are at your own expense.
- Government Taxes: All quoted prices include prevailing government taxes and service charges.
